About the Event
Everyone fell in love with the beautiful embroidered maps created by April from Pleasant Valley Sunday. So much so that she has come on board to help you create your own!
In this workshop you will learn to master the French knot stitch, as well as how to create colour, texture, and depth in embroidery.
This workshop is for all levels, if you are new to embroidery, focusing on just one stitch will help you develop confidence and if have developed some embroidery skills in the past, you will be able to focus on colour selections and creating a smooth transition in your work.
You will go home with your very own French Knot Map of Australia creation in your own colour scheme, and a set of skills that will lead you to create many more unique works of art! You will be provided with everything you need for this workshop in a little kit you can take home with you.
The workshop includes:
- French Knot Map of Australia created in your own colour scheme
- An embroidery kit with all the tools and materials you need to create the design.
- Awesome new embroidery skills and confidence to get working on your next design.
